My daughter Brittani is a Freshman at York Suburban High school. She went to the homecoming dance last night and she looked so amazing. It seems like just yesterday that I was bringing her home from the hospital and now she is in high school. Wow! I guess my message is to enjoy and savor every second of life because it is fleeting.
Wow, with all of those girls it looks like you will have a lot more homecomings and proms in your future!! I have boys so it is easy rent a tux and send them on their way! It is cool you will get to experience all of the hair and make up that goes along with these special events!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean with them growing up so so fast. im only 18 and have no kids but have watched my little sister grow up and its crazy because i just remember when she was way little and all playing make beleive and now she is worrying about boys and cloths and all that! i cant beleive it happened so fast!!!!! I remember my first homecoming too though! I am the first of three daughters so my mom has to pay for many many dresses we always had a deal worked out that my homecoming dresses would be cheap dresses from either the off season( like i would get them in summer) or from a cheaper store so that when my senior prom came i could slurge just alittle!!!!!
