What is Good Writing

Good writing is a focused and well structured way to convey your purpose to the intended audience. Good writing also grabs the attention of your audience with detailed imagery and provocative ideas. It then maintains that interest by employing proper mechanics as well as effortless flow.

What isn’t Good Writing

Good writing is not unorganized. It should not bore your audience with unfocused ideas and bland imagery. It shouldn’t confuse your audience with sloppy mechanics or inconsistent flow. Good writing will not leave your audience wondering about the purpose of the piece.
